Description:

Butcher Falls, a 14 foot drop on Pool Creek, pictured after heavy spring rains; is located northwest of Sedan Kansas. Although on private property, the Red Buffalo Ranch; the owner allws public accesss to the falls, just a short distance from the gate. Note: the rocks on the left side of the picture are moss covered and protected from the sun by the trees. They are extremely slick.
